Videos of the Day – week of 8/25

8/25 – check out the cool new band Alvvays (that’s with 2 v’s)!  Ahoy matey!

8/26 – Justin Townes Earle has a new album out 9/9…check out his typically blunt Fader interview & the new video!

8/27 – new UK duo Royal Blood has made fans of Arctic Monkeys among many others in their native country.  In a nation of White Stripes & Black Keys lovers, will the U.S. take to them as quickly?

8/28 – if you didn’t get your hands on the limited-edition vinyl of Ryan Adams’ new “homage to the halcyon days of the earliest releases from Dischord, SST, Touch & Go and their ilk” 1984 album, it’s now streaming online – good stuff!

8/29 – here’s a cool one from Lily Taylor (not to be confused with the actress Lili Taylor, although she did sing a bit in one of my favorite movies, Say Anything)…
